Cuban Missile Crisis
The Cuban Missile Crisis was part of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. This all started on October 14,1962. During that year, the Soviet Union's leader thought of the idea of putting missiles in Cuba. The leader of Cuba was Fidel Castro. He didn't want his country under invasion. John F. Kennedy stopped the Cuban Missile Crisis because he thought it would harm others.
